Aegis, Autonomous Compliance & GRC
Aegis stands up your compliance program from a short interview, keeps the evidence current from the systems you already run, and gives your auditors and customers a single source of truth, across SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST, the EU AI Act and more.
Aegis is the governance side of NexusVoid, your autonomous CISO. It builds your security and compliance program for you, keeps it current, and puts the proof in one place, so whoever owns security, a CISO or a founder with no security team, spends their time on decisions instead of spreadsheets.
Where Argus secures the code you ship, Aegis governs the organization that ships it: frameworks, controls, policies, evidence, risk, vendors, endpoints, training and the trust you show customers. Compliance falls out of that program as a by-product, because the work behind each control is actually being done.
What Aegis does
Stand up a program in an afternoon
Answer a security assessment about your business and Aegis decides what is in scope, then materializes a tailored program, controls, policies written in your context, an evidence backlog, a starter risk register and a vendor list, mapped to the frameworks you chose.
Know what to do next
A step-by-step roadmap from kick-off to audit, with a clear "done when" for every milestone, optional dates you set, and a board where moving a card moves the real work.
Start from the documents you have
Upload existing policies, vendor lists and risk registers. Aegis suggests vendors, risks and assessment answers from them, and nothing is applied until a person approves it.
Cover many frameworks at once
One control can satisfy a SOC 2 criterion, an ISO 27001 Annex A control and a NIST subcategory at the same time. Do the work once; Aegis tracks it against every framework it maps to.
Keep evidence current on its own
Connect Google Workspace, GitHub, AWS, GCP, Azure and more. Automated checks and cloud tests pull evidence continuously instead of the week before an audit.
Govern risk, vendors and endpoints
An AI-mapped risk register, vendor risk assessments, device compliance, security training and a Shadow AI inventory, the governance work that usually lives in disconnected spreadsheets.
Answer customers before they ask
A hosted Trust Center and questionnaire automation turn your posture into a sales asset and cut days off every security review.
Hand auditors a clean room
A dedicated auditor view exposes controls, mapped evidence and policies read-only, so an audit is a walkthrough, not a scavenger hunt.
Who Aegis is for
Aegis is built for the person accountable for security and compliance, and the small team around them.
- CISOs and heads of security who need a defensible program and a live view of where it stands, not a point-in-time snapshot that is stale the day after the audit.
- GRC and compliance leads who are tired of chasing screenshots, versioning policies by hand and reconciling the same control across four frameworks.
- Founders and engineering leaders with no security team who need a real security program, not just a report, without hiring a full security and GRC function first.
Why it is different
Most compliance tools automate the filing cabinet. Aegis is AI-native: it does the drafting, mapping and assessment work a consultant would otherwise bill for.
It writes, not just tracks
Policies are generated in your organization's real context, your cloud, your data types, your workforce model, not generic templates you still have to edit.
It maps risk to controls
Each risk is matched by AI to the controls that actually mitigate it and given concrete treatment tasks, so your register connects to your program instead of sitting beside it.
It answers questionnaires
Upload a customer's security questionnaire and Aegis drafts answers from your policies and org details, turning a two-day task into a review.
It sees Shadow AI
Aegis discovers the AI tools running on employee devices and lets you classify each as sanctioned, unsanctioned or prohibited, AI governance most tools do not touch yet.
How a program comes together
Tell Aegis about your business
A short interview, then the security assessment: your product, where you host, the data you handle, your workforce, the tools you run and how mature each area is today. Its answers decide what is in scope.
Aegis materializes your program
It generates controls, policies, an evidence backlog, a starter risk register and a vendor list, all scoped by your answers and mapped to the frameworks you selected. NexusVoid then publishes a roadmap for it.
Connect your systems
Integrations and cloud tests begin collecting evidence automatically and flag what is missing.
Work the backlog
Assign tasks, publish policies, mitigate risks and close gaps, with progress tracked against every framework in real time.
Prove it, continuously
Share the Trust Center with customers, answer questionnaires in minutes, and hand auditors a read-only view when the time comes.
Where it fits in the platform
Aegis is one module of NexusVoid. It shares the same account, roles and billing as the rest of the platform, and it is stronger next to them:
- Argus secures your code and supply chain. Connect it to Aegis and the two share one connection in both directions: critical and high Argus findings appear in Aegis, where you can add them to your risk register, a Secure Code check fails while a critical finding is open, and Aegis sends your framework scores back to Argus.
- The Red Teaming suite tests your AI systems for weaknesses, evidence for the security testing controls in SOC 2, ISO 27001 and the EU AI Act.
Compliance stops being a parallel universe from security and becomes the same program, viewed from the governance side.
What Aegis will not do for you
Aegis is honest about the line between what it can prove and what still needs a human, the same principle Argus holds to.
- A control with no evidence is marked as such, never "pass". Aegis will tell you a control is unaddressed rather than quietly count it as met. Absence of evidence is not evidence of compliance.
- It does not issue your certificate. Aegis gets you audit-ready and gives your auditor a clean room; an accredited auditor still issues the SOC 2 report or ISO certificate.
- It does not replace your judgment. AI drafts policies, maps risks, answers questionnaires and suggests what it finds in your documents; a human owner reviews, edits and approves. An AI agent can propose assessment answers, but only a person can confirm them or submit. Generated content is a strong first draft, not the final word.
- It is not legal advice. Aegis helps you meet a framework's requirements; whether that satisfies a specific regulator or contract is a call for you and your counsel.
